Relief Staff - All Divisions of BSW
Work Summary
Under general supervision, performs para-professional work in assisting
with the development and implementation of the consumer's individual plan, able to document behavioral and service objective data
as established by the IP Team, possesses skills necessary to work with individuals with aggressive and/or self-abusive behaviors in
a responsible car giving style, will be responsible for maintenance of assigned work area.
BSW, Inc. operates on the philosophy of
ZERO Tolerance for Abuse and Neglect and any such occurrence will be reported according to policy. Will maintain a positive
work atmosphere by behaving in a professional and courteous manner with consumers, families, guardians, advocates, co-workers and
other service providers.
Must be able to lift/carry 20 pounds or more.
Education and Experience
1.
High school diploma.
2. Two (2)
years of formal education in developmental disabilities or related field and/or two (2) years
experience working with persons with special needs.
3. Valid
Montana Driver's License and the ability to be covered by BSW, Inc. insurance.
4.
Willingness to attend specialized training as mandated by BSW, Inc.
5.
Maintain required certifications.
